Your Wealth Management Questions, Answered
Ways of Working
What makes you different from other firms?
We build relationships with your whole family. Senior advisors work with wealth builders; next-generation advisors work with children so every member of the family has a trusted point of contact who knows them personally. On the investment side, we construct individual securities portfolios based on your specific goals, values, and tax situation, informed by our in-house research team.
How do I know you're acting in my best interest, and how are you compensated?
As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), we are held to a fiduciary standard, meaning we are legally and ethically required to act in your best interest at all times. We are compensated solely as a percentage of the assets we manage, not through commissions, transaction fees, or product sales.
What happens if my advisor retires or leaves the firm?
We’ve built our firm with succession in mind. Client relationships are managed by a team, so there is always someone who knows your family’s situation well. If your primary advisor transitions out, we handle that with direct communication and continuity.
Our Clients
Who do you typically work with?
We work primarily with successful individuals, families, and business owners, often at a pivotal moment: a business sale, an approaching retirement, or a family preparing to transfer significant wealth to the next generation.
I already have an advisor. Why should I switch?
Many of our client relationships begin this way. At a certain point, financial decisions require integrated planning, not just investment management. The people we serve want their families involved in that planning so everyone understands the responsibilities and opportunities ahead.
Investments & Planning
How do you invest my money?
Our in-house research team builds portfolios using individual stocks and bonds selected for your situation. Investments are aligned to your goals, tax profile, and risk tolerance, so you can see what you own and why.
I have a CPA and an estate attorney. How do you work with them?
We coordinate closely with your existing advisors. Investment, tax, and estate decisions intersect, and we align your advisors so your plan works as a whole.
How do I know if I’m ready to retire?
Our team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) professionals build a cash flow analysis that maps your current financial picture against long-term projections, accounting for taxes, income needs, and estate considerations. The result is an honest assessment of where you stand and what adjustments, if any, need to be made.
Accounts & Assets
How often will I hear from you?
We structure communication around your needs and preferences. That may include a mix of in-person meetings, video calls, emails, and phone calls. Between meetings, you have access to reporting that reflects your complete financial picture.
Where are my assets held?
Your assets are held by an independent, qualified custodian that is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). The custodian that holds your assets is separate from our firm, providing an added layer of oversight.
